National Math Standards This link has information regarding the national math standards. The link will bring your directly to the national gemetry standards. These standards act an an umbrella for which the Connecticut standards are derived. These standards are important for creating standards for the country so that every student across the nation will be learning the same processes and skills to ensure a quality education for all students.	Connecticut Math Standards This link will bring you to a Microsoft Word Doccument that has a matrix for Connecticut's math standads. This doccument ges through standards for each grade starting at Pre-K all the way through 12th grade. On the 4th page is where the geometry standards are. During the year all of the standards related to geometry will be addressed and focused on whileother standards might be addressed but not directly focused on.

Connecticut Academic Performance Test
The Connecticut Academic Perfoamce Test (C.A.P.T.) is a standardized test taken in Connecticut. The test focuses on math, science, reading, and writing. The test first taken in the sophmore year of high school and if the student passes the different sections they will not have to take the test again. The test can and must be retaken again for any strand that is not considered to be passing.
